Strengthen our own inner voices

Opinions never end. Learn to filter them out and focus on what is important instead. Even our own opinion can be noisy enough to impede directed action toward a goal so it’s important to notice it and let it go if that happens. Some of us also may have received limiting messages in the past, regarding what we could do with our futures. Don’t let that stop us from reaching for our dream and taking a step toward it each and every day. Two steps forward and one step back is still progress. I have heard my fair share of negative opinions regarding my abilities and my future in violin and it has been (and still is) a process of overriding them. Anyway, the critics have not played and taught successfully on three continents, so join me in helping to let those negative voices go!
